Schlagwerk has designed a range of "Cajintos", that is, Cajones with a horizontal playing surface at their top. A very convenient design that makes them easy to play among other drums like congas, or with sticks, brushes etc.

This Bass Cajinto has distinctively deep and rich bass tones due to the instrument's height. Therefore, it is meant to play standing up (like congas on stand). Its sounding range is notably larger than other cajintos', which makes its musical potential much larger as well.
