Schlagwerk has designed a range of "Cajintos", that is, Cajones with a horizontal playing surface at their top. A very convenient design that makes them easy to play among other drums like congas, or with sticks, brushes etc.

This cajinto has clear slaps and high-pitched tones, thanks to its brilliant snare. Its bass tones are not-so-deep (because of the instrument's small size) but they combine beautifully with its other sounds.
